This story is part of a series capturing people’s experiences of living through the Covid-19 pandemic. It was recorded in the days after the UK’s first lockdown was lifted, on Lower Stable Street in Kings Cross on 5th July 2020. “A Portrait of a Pandemic” is a collaboration between Rafael Hortala Vallve (autofoto.org) and Nick Francis (speakit.org).
